On the day(s) the weather could have been better but no spirits were dampened - except those that needed water... The late night catering went down a storm and we were forced to close on early Saturday morning due to the fact that we had run out of some essentials... (more demand than than we had planned for) The bands were really good and thanks are due to The Rock Bobster for his warm up on Saturday night.
This year instead of a ‘bike for 1st prize in the raffle we offered £300 which was won by a member of The Black Widows, Other raffle prizes included Helmets - donated by Dave Emmerson Motorcycles and Twist Grip, The usual Trophies were given, however the Trophy for Best Rat went walkies - we are in the process of getting a replacement to the winner.
The RBLR reported a positive outcome from their stand - many thanks to those who showed an interest. Unfortunately not all the stands we expected turned up -but the Tattooists did - and were kept busy - Heather at least will be back next year..
The only thing to go really wrong was the photos... Piccis were taken of (almost) every-one who came and made into a presentation to play on the big screen in the function room, they were all saved onto a USB (except those who arrived later on Friday or Saturday). When I got the usb back it had been corrupted and I’m still trying to find someone who can access almost 100 pictures on there... I have posted those that we do have and would welcome any from those of you who came to pad out our collection.
